Welcome to Pack Pride! For many of us, animals are life. We have such a passion for what we do that it becomes a huge part of who we are. Foster Coordinator, Alex, is no exception. Alex loves animals and is working on turning that into a career goal. While working full time as the Foster Coordinator, she also goes to school full time, studying to be part of the ACC Vet Tech program.
Before starting as an employee for TXHH a year ago, Alex was volunteering for two months when she was approached with a job opening as part of the Animal Wellness team. She jumped on the opportunity to work with animals. Shortly after, she was promoted to Foster Coordinator. She says the best part of working with TXHH is the family environment the team and volunteers create.
Alex’s hobbies include dog sitting and trying new restaurants in the ATX area. She feels her biggest accomplishments are becoming the Foster Coordinator and paying off her credit card debt! Who wouldn’t be proud of that?!
