Join us for a day of fun for the whole family!
Texas Humane Heroes is excited to invite you to the 2nd Annual Tails and Trails Hike! Bring your family, friends, and pets for a fun-filled hike through the 22-acre property that Texas Humane Heroes calls home. Along the trail, participants can enjoy a scavenger hunt, adding an interactive, family-friendly element to the experience. Don’t have a pet—or is yours not the walking type? No worries! This event is open to everyone who wants to support Texas Humane Heroes.
All proceeds will benefit Texas Humane Heroes, and help us continue our mission saving dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters across Texas!
What to expect:
- Set a fundraising goal to help us end pet homelessness
- Hike the trail that runs through our 22 acre property
- Participate in a scavenger hunt while you explore the trails
- Let your dog friend play in the on-site play yard
- Prizes, Kids Activities, Music

- 09:30 AM – Activities Open
- 10:00 AM – Opening Remarks
- 10:15 AM – Hike & Scavenger Hunt Begin
- 11:20 AM – Closing Remark
