Hounds Town Loves Our Pups!

Every week, Hounds Town welcomes one of our shelter dogs for a special “shelter break” at their facility. During their visit, the Hounds Town team spends time getting to know each dog, giving them a chance to relax, socialize, and show off their personality.

If the dog meets Hounds Town’s certification guidelines, they proudly receive an official Hounds Town Certified badge — a sign they’re ready to be your loyal, well-mannered companion.

Travis Agility Group (TAG) has been part of our campus community since 2010, offering expert dog agility training and events. In addition to renting training space on our property, TAG generously supports our mission through fundraising efforts and by helping raise awareness for the pets in our care. Their dedication to dogs—both in sport and in need—makes them a valued partner in our work.

We’re excited to partner with Wonder Dog to support our lifesaving work! For every dog adopted from our shelter that signs up for training with Wonder Dog, they will donate a portion back to Texas Humane Heroes. Just mention Texas Humane Heroes when you sign up your dog.

In addition to monetary support, Wonder Dog is offering volunteer training directly at our shelter. Their trainers are working with dogs currently in our care, helping them thrive and get ready for their forever homes.

Fetching Fido Fotography, owned and operated by Jane Fidanza, captures the true personality of pets through her photography. Jane gives back by donating 15% of every session to a charity of her clients’ choice—supporting organizations like Texas Humane Heroes. You may even recognize her work from our adoptable pet profiles, as she generously volunteers her time to photograph animals and help them find loving homes faster.
