Ready Fur Love: Brandy’s Dating Story

Meet Brandy! This lovely lady is sure to keep you on your toes! I hope you like being outdoors because that’s where Brandy will spend all of her days if given the chance! You might also want to consider investing in a bionic arm. Or at least a ball-shooting gun. Why you ask? Because Brandy has basically turned fetch into her religion. All day long Brandy thinks about fetch. The higher you can throw the better so she can leap up and snatch it like a champ. We’ve come to the conclusion that Brandy is part Pit Bull terrier and part kangaroo. Not really, but if you saw this girl jump, you would be tempted to think the same.

Brandy has a lot of energy and is a very smart girl. She is working on basic puppy manners and has already mastered sit, stay, and lie down. She is eager to learn, especially when fetch is her reward! Because of her high energy level, she needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Having puppy puzzles for her to solve would be a great way to keep her busy when the weather isn’t right, and taking leisurely jogs on the daily sounds like her version of paradise. What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?

“Outside! Taking a nice run through a grassy park on a sunny day is how I want to spend every day! I like playing fetch with tennis balls but I am also really good at frisbee, too! It would be a lot of fun spending the day seeing how high you can throw and how high I can jump. We can try and beat our record every time! Just be sure to throw away from the sun so that way I can still see it.”

 

What was the best gift you have ever received?

“Once the staff here at Texas Humane Heroes dropped so many tennis balls in with me! There were millions of them! I was so happy I didn’t know which one to go after! It was the happiest moment of my life. With a touch of overwhelmingness, I will admit.”

 

What are you looking for in your next relationship?

“I am looking for someone who will play and enjoy the great outdoors with me. I want someone who can see that I am worth every minute. I am excited to have someone to spend my days with and to love. I hope they come soon because I’m sure tired of waiting.”
