Ready Fur Love: Tucker’s Dating Story

If a cowboy with good looks and charming ways is what you are searching for in a friend, then Tucker might be the one! Tucker has polite manners (like any true southern gentleman) and enjoys being around his people. He is very gentle and just wants for someone to walk by and give him a good pat on the head. While he is a friendly fellow with humans, but he would probably do best as your only pet.

Tucker knows that life isn’t all play– you gotta put in some hard work, too! He would be a great ranch dog for a family to help them out on the farm. Even if farm work isn’t up your alley, playing and exploring in the great outdoors would be just peachy, also. At the end of the day, laying in the grass counting stars or chasing lightning bugs sounds like the perfect way to wind down. How do you like to spend your Saturdays?

Well, if I had a hard week of gettin’ stuff done, then Saturdays are for relaxin’. I like to play outside splashin’ around in some water, or maybe take a trip into town and meet new people. I also like to explore new places so going on some hikes and stuff would be a lot of fun, too. Basically, as long as I ain’t cooped up indoors or spending all day by myself, then I’m good with just about anything.

What’s the best way to get to know someone?

I am a real people’s canine. I like to meet all kinds of new folk and get to talkin’ and telling stories right away, but that’s just with new friends. I know that a lasting relationship takes time. I’m a southern gentleman so I don’t want to seem too eager and pushy. I will be kind to my potential new family. It’s important to learn about each other’s likes and  dislikes, habits and daily routines to make sure that we are a good fit. I believe once you’re committed, a true relationship should last a lifetime.

What’s your favorite food?

Homestyle, country cookin’ is my favorite- meat, potatas, corn, fried chicken, all the good stuff. Shoot, I’d even eat possum pie! I ain’t never had it, but I’ll try anything once! I’m getting a hankering for some good eats right now.
