Hello HEROES – Happy July

Hi *{{First Name}}*,
This month, help celebrate the lasting impact of love — from Robert Earle Davis’s incredible legacy gift to the heartfelt mementos placed on the Memorial Wall. Together, create a future full of second chances for pets still waiting for their forever homes.

One Man’s Will. Countless Lives Changed.
This month, help in honoring someone truly special
Robert Earle Davis (Bob)
Robert Earle Davis (Bob) had a deep love for animals — especially dogs. While he never sought the spotlight, his heart spoke volumes. And his final act of generosity left us speechless.
Bob included Texas Humane Heroes in his will. His legacy gift — totaling approximately $1.7 million — is already making an incredible impact. Because of him, we’re moving forward on new dog kennels much sooner than expected. These kennels will provide a better quality of life for the dogs at Texas Humane Heroes — a fresh start for so many who need it most.
We can’t imagine a more meaningful tribute.
August is National Make-A-Will Month, and Bob’s story is a powerful reminder: your legacy can save lives.
If you’ve ever thought about the mark you want to leave, consider joining Robert Earle Davis (Bob) and others who’ve made a lasting difference through a gift in their will — a legacy of compassion that lives on.
And if you’ve already included Texas Humane Heroes in your will, please let us know. We’d love the chance to thank you and welcome you into our Legacy Society.

July Dog of the Month:
From Pain to Play: Bella’s Second Chance
When Bella arrived at Texas Humane Heroes, she was hobbling and crying in pain. An X-ray revealed the cause: a broken leg that had gone untreated for far too long.
To give her the best chance at a pain-free life, the clinic team performed an amputation. Thanks to supporters like you, Bella got the surgery and recovery time she needed — and now she’s thriving.
Even better? Bella was just adopted! She’s off to start her new life, full of love, comfort, and play.
Your support makes stories like Bella’s possible every single day.
Thank you Hello Light Photography for donating your time and talent to take these pictures of sweet Bella!

July Cat of the Month:
Snoop Dawg: A VIP in Foster Care
Snoop Dawg has been at Texas Humane Heroes for nearly a year, making him a VIP pet and one of our longest stay cats. This cool cat lives with FIV, chronic herpes, and a condition that causes his eyelids to curl inward — but thanks to dedicated care, he’s living a comfortable, happy life.
Right now, Snoop is thriving in a loving foster home. Fostering gives pets like him the extra time and attention they need while they wait for their forever family.
We’re so grateful for foster volunteers — if you’re interested in fostering, reach out and learn more!
