Sisters Alyssa, Alayna and Ava and their brother Aydan were brought to HSWC by a kind lady who found them at her place of work and took loving care of them for a week until she could take them to a no-kill shelter. Little Ayla joined the siblings only four days later. A good samaritan had rescued her from a storm drain on a rainy Saturday afternoon and brought her into the shelter during our big September adoption event. All of the kittens got along wonderfully right away. Within minutes they were snuggling and playing with each other as if they had always been together.
Now, almost three weeks later, all of the kittens are thriving. They are healthy, friendly, playful and very sweet. They love people and play well with other friendly kittens and cats.
Alyssa is out-going, friendly and very playful. She is also the most vocal of the group – in a very sweet way. Her favorite toys at her foster home are little felt mice that she can “catch” and carry around.
Alayna is sweet, smart and curious about everything. She was the first to climb to the top of the tall cat tower. Her favorite past-time is playing hide-and-seek with the other kittens and the resident cats. She also loves little toy balls, especially the ones with a small bell in them.
Ava is probably the quietest kitten of the group; she is very easy-going and sweet and loves to snuggle in your lap. But she is still all kitten and absolutely loves to run and play. She also likes to mother Ayla, the baby of the group.
Aydan is all boy. He’s very adventurous and out-going and has tons of happy, playful energy. He adores the resident kitty Kody (adopted from HSWC in March 2012). He runs to Kody the moment he sees him and the two cuddle and play with each other all day.
Ayla is very sweet and enjoys being held and carried around like a baby. But she is also very strong and brave and will not hesitate to wrestle down Aydan, the biggest and strongest kitten of the group if she feels like it. And just like the other kittens she loves to play, run and explore.
