Meet Tinker, Trina, Tom and Turk! These little babies and their mom are due back at the shelter soon. For more information on any of these guys, please email Lindsey Thompson at foster@texashumaneheroes.org. Be a hero…adopt!

Hi, I’m Tinker! Do you want a communicative kitty?  If so, look no further!  I adore the people who take care of me, and have a cute little vocabulary of soft sounds to let them know — chirps, purrs, meows and coos.  I am soft and sleek, all the better for you to stroke my satiny fur and make me love you even more.  I am regaining my waistline after a litter of kittens, and ready to make you the center of my world.  Won’t you please let me?

Hi, I’m Trina! Of course, I am beautiful.  I mean, just look at me!  I am also discriminating about whom I choose to trust, but with a little patience, I will show my true colors.  ( Get it?  True colors?  Ha ha!  I am multi-colored!)  That is, I will relax and present my tummy for you to rub.  I like to have a hiding place for when I feel a little overwhelmed.  Give me that and some tenderness, and I will be the best little princess-kitty you can imagine!

Hi, my name is Tom! I am ultra-mellow, a very laid-back little guy.  That doesn’t mean I’m not fun, though — I love toys and attention, too, when available!  I am brave, curious and trusting.  Because of that, I might need your help to keep safe from bigger pets in the beginning.  I am social and really enjoy hanging out with my siblings.  If you are looking for a cool cat as a lifelong companion, pick me!

I’m Turk! I’m a people-watcher.  And a cat-watcher.  Anything, really.  I like to know what’s going on before jumping in.  Then, look out, I’m one busy kitty!  I have the cutest expressions, cocking my head to show my interest.  I especially like to play with my jingly ball with a feather and to explore dark places.  Do you have some toys I might like?  Take me home to play!
