Danny Solis has been a reliable Texas Humane Heroes volunteer since November of 2017. Many of our pets have great pictures showing off their personalities thanks to Danny. A natural photographer, Danny spends hours here taking pictures of dogs and cats to capture photos for our website and social media.
Having photos of the dogs and cats helps capture the attention of potential adopters who are browsing for a new pet. He has helped so many animals find their forever homes through his pictures!
Danny has been practicing photography since he was a teenager. He took a short break from it for a little bit and then saw Texas Humane Heroes post about needing volunteer photographers, and he jumped right back in. Not only does he take pictures of our animals and happenings around here, he also does a lot of our event photography and captures moments whether it be at our Rescue Roundup or Bowl-A-Thon.
At home, he and his wife have two Shih Tzus named Toby and Taylor. When he isn’t working or here volunteering, he does love to play Xbox. His favorite game is the Halo series. Asian food is his favorite, and his favorite dogs he’s met here at TXHH have been Turner and Pop.
