Hi! My name is Stripes! I’m here today to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a year and a half, so I’m still kind of like a pup, right? I am a very loving dog who enjoys being close to people, and I have been known to curl up on laps when I’ve calmed down!
Like I said, I love people, and when I’m being taken outside, I can get very excited and forget that I’m not supposed to jump or play tug-o-war with the leash. It would definitely be best for my adopters to have an idea on dog training, or be willing to get me a trainer to work with for a bit after adoption. We can learn together! Then I will be the best dog you could ever imagine.
Now, I am quite the “sweetheart,” as I’ve been told, and I definitely like meeting new people, so I’m a bit bummed that no one has adopted me yet. I guess it’s because I’m not a “puppy-puppy” but still need to learn some manners. I would really, really love for someone to give me a chance, though! I’m a good boy, I’m loving, and I think having a real home would be great for me! I will never leave your side and we can create lots of great memories going to the park, playing in the backyard, or even just watching movies together. Also, I have pretty cool fur. Who doesn’t love a brindle?
