Hi New Family!
I’m Lovey and I’m ready fur love! But not just anyone’s love. You’re love. I’m a very sweet and petite little girl. I’m also a poet if you didn’t already know it. Let me tell you, my life has been a little crazy lately. I don’t know how I ended up without a family but somehow it happened and I gotta say, I’m not a fan. Luckily, I’m still young and have plenty of time to make wonderful memories with my new family which I’m very excited about doing. I have made a lot of cat friends while I’ve been staying at Texas Humane Heroes, and they have all helped me a lot. When I first came to the Adoption Center, I was very scared and confused. There were so many new humans that I didn’t know and honestly, I was pretty nervous about meeting them. My roommates showed me I had nothing to be afraid of and that humans can offer us all good things like ear scratches, treats, or a soft blanket! Most of all, they taught me that our goal is to find a family with humans because they will love and take care of me forever.
I still get a little nervous, but that’s changing very quickly. Maybe you have a nice pet at home already? I think having a companion will help me adjust to my new surroundings. Of course, that isn’t a requirement. I know that you will give me the time I need to learn and feel comfortable in my new surroundings if I get to be your one and only. I trust you.
I’ve heard people say black cats are bad luck but I promise you I will only bring you happiness if you pick me as your new family member. So what do you say? Are you feeling lucky?
