Meet mama dog Honey and her puppies Ginger, Pumpkin, Mocha, Cocoa, Butterscotch and Snickerdoodle! This mom and her puppies are all currently in a foster home while the puppies put on weight and are socialized. The puppies will be available in a few months, but Honey will be coming back to the Leander Adoption Center soon and will be ready to find her forever home!
Honey is a sweet and loving dog who loves to be cuddled and even hugged, and she thinks that she is a lap dog! At the same time, she is energetic and playful and loves to go on walks. She is very gentle and polite when meeting new people, including the small neighborhood children who approach and pet her. Her foster mom also has two dogs of her own, and Honey does just fine with them.
She would love to go to a family who will spend their time lavishing her with attention and pets, but who will also take her on hiking and traveling adventures and play with her toys with her. Honey especially loves her teddy bear and crinkly butterfly toys.
If you’re looking for a very sweet and gentle dog who will go on walking adventures with you during the day and curl up on your lap at night, Honey is the one!
