MEET MUFASA
Mufasa will make a wonderful, cuddly companion for some lucky family. He’s super-friendly and likes nothing more than to be near his human friends. He will give you head butts and gentle kisses to get you to pet and love on him – and then curl up in your lap for a good long nap! And he would love to sleep in your bed right next to you if you’ll let him.
Mufasa has a lot of happy energy. Some of his favorite activities are going for a walk – he is perfectly leash trained – and pouncing on unsuspecting catnip balls. He will then roll around on his back and watch to see if you are charmed with his antics and smitten with his fuzzy tummy. He is one of those kitties that love to have their belly rubbed. He will even sit in your lap as you brush his gorgeous and soft, cream colored fur. And he doesn’t mind having his nails trimmed, either!
Mufasa really is one great cat. He just wants to be loved, and will reward you with lots of love. Being left at a shelter – due to his human friend’s lifestyle changes and no fault of his own – has therefore been particularly difficult for him.
In foster care though Mufasa has done really well. Although he didn’t enjoy the company of the two resident cats, he was a very happy, playful and cuddly boy. Everybody loved him.
The vet gave him a clean bill of health, but recommended a healthy diet and probiotics so his foster mom started feeding him a set amount of high-protein, grain-free food (available at local area pet stores) that contains probiotics twice a day. He is doing well on it; his weight is coming up, his muscles are getting stronger and his gorgeous, long fur is growing back nicely now.
Mufasa has been neutered and micro-chipped and is current on his vaccines. He has excellent indoor manners and is fully litter box trained. All he needs is a family of his own to love him forever.
