We would like to introduce you to another staff member in this week’s Pack Pride! Cristi has been a big part of Texas Humane Heroes for the past three and a half years! She is currently on our Animal Wellness Team but began her journey in the organization on the Adoptions Team helping match people with their new family members. Not long after becoming an employee, Cristi adopted a puppy who she named Shiva!
Besides cuddling the animals, her favorite part of the job is first-hand seeing the bond between humans and their pets. “It’s like their kid and I was able to be there for them in some way. It’s incredibly rewarding.” Whether it be helping customers during our Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic or during the adoption process, she always loves seeing the love between a human and their pet.
Cristi is a passionate person about helping her community and hopes to volunteer with Planned Parenthood in the near future.
