Hey everybody, my name is Elvis! I’m 7 years young and still have a lot of pep in my step. People would describe me as an easy-going fella and a certified social butterfly that likes being on the go. I prefer not to be left in my kennel for long periods of time. I love playing with adults, older kids, and other dogs. I’m not too sure how I feel about cats since I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting one.
Life as a pup at Texas Humane Heroes isn’t too bad because I get to do a lot of fun things. In the morning when I wake up, I get to go for a walk outside and take care of my business. Then I hang out in the play yard for a while and do all my favorite activities, like sniffing everything, playing with tennis balls, sunbathing, and then splashing around in the pool to cool down.
I am excited for the day that I finally get to go home with my forever family where I can spend my days playing in the backyard, going on long walks, and maybe even some small hikes. Then in the evenings, I can curl up on my bed with a warm blanket and a bowl of chicken broth and we can all curl up together and watch a movie. Come and hang out with me this week, you know where to find me (the Leander Adoption Center that is). And hey, we might just be each other’s new best friends!
