Describe your best features.

“When a lot of people first meet me, all they see is a scared dog in the corner. I want people to know that this isn’t the real me, I’m still learning that the world isn’t a scary place and that people are a source of love, safety, and companionship. When people give me time, I can show them that I love to play. On sunny days, we can run and play games outside together, and on the cold ones we can snuggle up on the couch under a warm blanket and watch a movie together. I am very loyal to my person and I want nothing more than to make them happy. Your happiness is my happiness.”

What’s your favorite part about cold weather?

“The best part of cold weather is the food! It’s when all the comfort food comes out that fills your belly and soul. My favorites are mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and roasted chicken! I’m going into a food coma just thinking about it! I guess for good nutritional balance a few veggies can be thrown in, but only if that’s a must. I also enjoy the closeness people seem to have in cold weather. Everyone wants to be closer and spending more time with one another. It’s a comforting feeling having a family together and showing love. It’s something this dog could definitely get used to.”

What is your dream job?

“My dream job would be a therapy dog! I know that may sound a little silly coming from a pup that is nervous around strange people, but I know some day that won’t always be the case. Someday I will realize that people bring happiness the way I give them. Knowing that I can visit someone who may be feeling scared or alone and be their friend makes me happy. I would be a good example for them to never lose hope and to keep fighting because, in the end, it’s all going to be worth it. “
